WHEN KNOWLEDGE REALLY COUNTS

Our competency-based, industry onsite training is a real-world assessment. Effectively delivered by our Certificate IV Trainers, Assessors and High-risk licensed Scaffolder whom, not only hold the current and relevant qualifications, but also draw on a wealth of industry experience and knowledge.

SCAFFOLD INSPECTOR TRAINING COURSE

COURSE DURATION

6 hours.

Duration may vary depending on number of attendees.

Course delivered on location. Site must have scaffolding.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

COURSE MATERIAL

On successful completion of course, the attendee will receive a copy of our 'Scaffold Safety Handbook' to keep for future reference.

An individual undertaking this course with Scaffold Safety will need to demonstrate the following to be eligible for entry:

• Physical capability to be able to meet the demands of the practical site work

• English language communication skills in reading, writing, and spoken language, equivalent to ACSF Level 1​

COURSE FRAMEWORK

Your participants will develop a thorough understanding of the following:
• Establishing Key Hazards of Scaffold Structures from Industry Incidents and case study investigations. Scaffold overloading events, Tie/anchor failures, Common failings and dislodged scaffold components.
• Exploring relevant Industry guidance and compliance material.
• Establishing base level key points from relevant Australian standards 1576 & 4576
- Tie placements / installation detail, Bracing requirements, Load duties, Safety limits
• Establishing required certification for engineering with scaffold design
- Design assumptions and structural engineering requirements, Anchor and surface approval.
• Exploring specific engineering detail relevant to scaffold management
- Tie patterns, Containment sheeting specs
• Acceptable scaffold erection and dismantle practices
• Site based walk with observation checklist of inspection items

On the successful completion of this competency-based course, the attendee will receive a certificate issued by Scaffold Safety. Participants will also receive the high quality A5 Scaffold Safety handbook.

COURSE FEES AND PAYMENT

Small groups up to 6 attendees $2,100 ex gst

Large groups up to 10 attendees $3,200 ex gst


Course must be prepaid.
Onsite training outside of Greater Sydney will attract per diems and travel costs for the instructor, to be paid over and above the training cost. These will be invoiced for payment in full prior to delivery of course.
